A Voice for England

Parliament from the ThamesUKIP believe that the current constitutional arrangement whereby MP’s from Scotland, Wales & Northern Ireland can vote on English matters at Westminster whilst their English counterparts can not do so on devolved matters such as Health in the other 3 parts of the UK is wrong and needs addressing. (The so-called ‘West Lothian Question’)

For example, the Scottish Parliament voted against tuition fees for students in Scotland, but Scottish Labour MP’s voted in the UK Parliament at Westminster to impose them on English students.
